Description

HBCD is a highly brominated cycloaliphatic flame retardant. It provides excellent performance at low loading levels with a minimum effect on polymer properties.

Applications:

It is mainly used in expanded Polystyrene ( EPS and XPS ) for thermal insulation foams, in building and construction in order to meet the required high fire safty standards. HBCD also finds application in the back-coating of textiles, SBR, adhesive, coating and UPR.
